branch back to Morris liston who came to Deleware 
America in 1665. My family left Deleware about 1785 
and moved to what is now Preston County, West Virginia 
I still have a home and children in West Virginia. 
I have very extensive records of this branch of 
the Liston family but am missing a death date of 
one member and his wife's name, birth date and death .

Comment: My family is from southern Utah and were decendents 
of a relatively well-known early convert to the Mormon church. 
I think his name was Commodore Perry Liston?? I can find out 
his name if you want -- I believe he had a couple of wives! 
There remain a good deal of Listons in southern Utah today. Of 
course, since the Mormons are very interested in geneology I'm 
sure this history been looked into. But if you know where he 
came from before Utah, I'd be interested to know.
